Your beauty is not in your face, for that will surely fade
Your beauty isn't in your hair, which will eventually degrade
Your beauty is not in your eyes be they green or blue
Your beauty is in none of these, believe that what I say is true
"where then, is my beauty?" you may ask; be patient and you shall see
Your beauty cannot be seen, but trust me it shall last
It will always be a part of you after these have passed
When your eyes have faded and your hair has turned gray
Your wrinkled face will turn to me and this is what you'll say
"what is this thing you speak of that has remained unseen?"
The answer, my dear, is simple; it's your personality
