________________________

I stand watch in the night
and I blow your fears away.

I will defend my beliefs
until my dying day.

I vowed to help the weak
and offer them my hand.

When asked what I stand for
I say those who can not stand.

I sit and shine my boots
with my back against the wall

At night I stay awake
in anticipation of a call.

I am one of many
for I do not stand alone.

We defend against the doubters
both the seen and unknown.

We patrol the waters
and sail mother Earth.

I will charge into guy fir without batting an eye
then I shall gladly die.

We stand in defense
so you don't have to.

We perpetuate the memories of those
who came before.

We stare death and the eye and
knock on heavens door.

The answer that you seek simply rhymes with my old oak tree.

I bet you can not guess just who we might be.
